1. Let the light in

Wash the windows inside and out, clean the blinds, dust any light fixtures and replace any burnt-out bulbs. If curtains are feeling dusty and dingy, start at the top with a handheld vacuum and make your way down each panel. If they’re machine washable, go for it as long as it’s on cold and gentle cycle. Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is transported to 1950's New York City as two young, idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the "American" Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks. Their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice is one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching and relevant musical dramas of our time.
