Tuesday, July 3

Pops on the River & Fireworks

When: 5-10 p.m.
Where: 150 River Street, Chattanooga, TN 37405
Cost: Free

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs & picnic baskets as you celebrate Independence Day with a concert by the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera Orchestra. The performance showcases a spectrum of patriotic and traditional tunes from some of America’s most influential composers and is followed by a fireworks finale over the Tennessee River. Food and drink concessions are available.

Freedom Celebration Concert and Fireworks Festival

When: 5-9:45 p.m.
Where: Veterans Memorial Park, Apison Pike, Collegedale
Cost: Free

The City of Collegedale’s Freedom Celebration will begin with vendors and booths open at 5 p.m. and two musical venues at both Imagination Station and Veterans Memorial Park with performances running from 6-9:15 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. respectively. The performances at Imagination Station will be Kofi Mawuko and Jennifer Daniels. At Veterans Memorial Park, Lou Wamp and the Bluetastics, the East Tennessee Symphony Orchestra, and Sweet Georgia Sound will play. For families with children, the Imagination Station Pavilion will have activities hosted by Collegedale Parks and Recreation as well as a bounce house and special demonstrations from 7-7:30 p.m. The childrens’ Red, White and Boom fun run will begin at 7:30 p.m., followed by the second annual 5k Glow Run along the greenway at 8 p.m. Freedom Celebration will conclude at 9:45 p.m. with "the area's largest fireworks display.” For more information about Freedom Celebration, call 423-468-1996.

Camp Columbus Annual Fireworks Show

When: Gates open at 5:30 pm.; Fireworks begin at 9:45 p.m.
Where: Camp Columbus, 8601 Camp Columbus Road in Hixson
Cost: Free

The annual fireworks show at Camp Columbus is free and open to the public. Food and refreshments will be available and live entertainment will begin at 6:30 p.m. featuring local artist Bryan Blaylock. Starting at 8:15 will be the Almond Butter Band. No outside food/coolers allowed.

Wednesday, July 4

Chattanooga Lookouts Post-Game Fireworks

When: 6:15 p.m.
Where: AT&T Field, 201 Power Alley
Cost: $9

Celebrate America's Independence with the Lookouts on July 4th and enjoy the biggest firework show of the year set to patriotic music following the Lookouts vs. Birmingham game.

Fireworks at Lake Winnepesaukah

When: Monday, July 2 and Wednesday, July 4 at 10 p.m.
Where: Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park, 1730 Lakeview Drive
Cost: $18-34.95
