Hand Crafted Wishes

When: 7-10 p.m. 
Where: Hunter Museum of American Art, 10 Bluff View
Cost: $45 - $60

 Celebrate local beer and food at the inaugural Hand Crafted Wishes event at the Hunter Museum of American Art. Each ticket gets you a souvenir tasting glass, unlimited beer and food samples, and the opportunity to listen to live music by Moontower from Atlanta, Georgia. VIP ticket holders will get in 30 minutes earlier than everyone else and be able to enjoy specialty beers only available in the VIP section. This event benefits Make-A-Wish of East Tennessee. Chattanooga Fashion Week Grand Finale

When: 3:30-9 p.m.
Where: Lindsay Street Hall, 906 Lindsay Street 
Cost: $45 - $75

See the latest in local and regional fashion on the runway at the Chattanooga Fashion Week finale, produced by Gage Models and Talent Agency. The event, held this week, featured several days of runway shows culminating in this Grand Finale Couture Runway Event. Saturday and Sunday October 10-11

Autumn Children's Festival

When: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1-5 p.m.
Where: Tennessee Riverpark, 4301 Amnicola Hwy
Cost: Free - $3

 The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga's 26th Annual Autumn Children's Festival, the area’s largest and longest running children’s festival, will be held this weekend. The event features fun activities for the whole family including giant inflatables, carnival games with fun prizes, arts and crafts, pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, costumed character appearances, and health, wellness and educational programs. Admission and parking are free. Cost of activities ranges from 50 cents to $3. Proceeds benefit families with critically ill and injured children at the Ronald McDonald House.


Friday, October 16

Acres of Darkness: Haunted Trail & Family Adventure

When: 7:30-11 p.m. 
Where: Audubon Acres, 900 N. Sanctuary Road 
Cost: $10-15

For Halloween fun for the entire family, check out Chattanooga’s only haunt in the woods, Acres of Darkness. Guests can play it safe on the kiddie trail or brave the Extreme Haunted Trail. A family area includes a hayride, kid's activities, a black light maze and inflatables. Enjoy a s'more and a cup of cocoa by the bonfire or journey into the forest for a fright. All proceeds benefit the environmental conservation and education programs of the Chattanooga Audubon Society.

Boo in the Zoo

When: 5:30-8:30 p.m. 
Where: Chattanooga Zoo, 301 North Holtzclaw Avenue 
Cost: $8.95 for adults, $5.95 for children, and ages 2 and under are free. Chattanooga Zoo members receive half off ticket prices.

Celebrate Halloween with the Chattanooga Zoo during its most spooktacular event of the season, Boo in the Zoo. The event features cartoon characters, trick-or-treat stations, costume contests, pony rides, games, inflatables and more.
