4th Annual Morris Hill Craft Market and Quilt Show

When: Friday, Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
Where: Morris Hill Baptist Church, 1804 Morris Hill Rd. 
Cost: Free

If you are into buying local, supporting local artists and makers (including young entrepreneurs!), and even supporting our local veterans, check out this event. Thursday, Oct. 10 

City Sweat: SWAT In The City

When: 6-7 p.m. 
Where: Miller Park, 928 Market St. 
Cost: Free

The final City Sweat workout for this year’s series will feature Sarah Dolmovich and her team at SWATwithsarah. Gear up with your training shoes, shades, and hydration for an all levels bootcamp style workout at Miller Park.


Thursday, Oct.10

Fall Fashion Fundraiser 

When: 6:30-9 p.m. 
Where: Moxy Chattanooga Downtown, 1220 King St.
Cost: Free

Coinciding with the exhibition, "The Art of Fashion," the Moxy Chattanooga Downtown will host a non-profit night fundraiser on behalf of the Association for Visual Arts (AVA). This is a night to play, mingle, drink and celebrate 30+ years of art. AVA info and pictures will be on view throughout the space, and The Mailboxes band will be performing live. A portion of all bar sales will go towards AVA and its programming. Guests are encouraged to wear something blue or originally made to show support for the arts organization. This event is free and open to the public. Donations are encouraged.

“Matilda”

It's not easy being a kid. Especially when your parents are crude, TV-addicted, book-bashing scoundrels and your heartless headmistress has a fondness for torturing children. Such is the plight – and plot – of the mischievous and magical "Matilda," a Tony Award-winning musical which opens the Chattanooga Theatre Centre's 2019-2020 season on Friday, September 20. Whiskey, Wine and Shine 

When: 7-10 p.m. 
Where: Chattanooga Whiskey, 890 Riverfront Parkway 
Cost: $50 

The Chattanooga Sertoma Club presents our 7th annual charity event with Chattanooga Whiskey, wine, moonshine, beer, and food with live music plus dancing, a clogging demonstration and a silent auction.
