Food Truck Fridays: Culture Fest

When: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 
Where: Miller Park, 900 Market St. 
Cost: Free

Come experience the rich cultural diversity of Chattanooga through arts, food, dance and live music during your lunch hour! With a newly opened park, there will also be a new slate of events and programs to be found in Downtown Chattanooga's Miller Park. In addition to the Rolling J's, Chatterbox, Clumpies and Go Gyro Go food trucks and cart that will be located on Market Street right beside Miller Park, each Friday will feature a different arts and cultural organization concluded by a local vendor fair to build community in the new public space.


November 2-4 and 9-11

Songs For A New World

When: Nov. 2, 3, 9 and 10 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 4 and 11 at 2:30 p.m.
Where: The Colonnade Center, 264 Catoosa Circle, Ringgold, GA 30736
Cost: $13-17 

The Colonnade Players present Songs For A New World. The Colonnade Players, by special arrangement with Music Theatre International, will bring "Songs for a New World" to The Colonnade Stage in November. Under the direction of James Ogden and musical direction of Terry Sanford, a cast of 4 men and 4 women will bring the beautifully crafted music and lyrics of Jason Robert Brown to life. This song cycle weaves together stories of everyday people in their search for a new world and a better life. The songs reveal hopeful expectations and harsh realities faced in the everyday struggle of discovery, becoming and belonging. The story travels through time and circumstance to portray the hopes, dreams, struggles, failures and triumphs that all light the way to a new world. 10th Annual Gallery Hop 

When: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: ArtsBuild, 301 E 11th St. #300 
Cost: Free 

Gallery Hop 2018 is a self-guided art tour featuring 15 galleries and artist studios in and around downtown. It’s a flexible event that accommodates both the distinctive character of each venue as well as the varied schedules and personal preferences of the visiting public. Because art galleries and artists' studios radiate a uniqueness that defines their creative visions, individuals will engage with the visual arts in different ways at each space to ensure visitors experience the diversity and richness of Chattanooga's visual arts scene. Sunday, November 4

Yelp's Flavors Of Fall

When: 3-6 p.m.
Where:
Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center, 400 Garden Road 
Cost: Free, with a suggested donation of $10

Yelp is taking over the nature center with several Chattanooga businesses showcasing their food, drinks and beer, even some coffee and totally mind-blowing coffee cocktails. The event will also feature live music, cornhole, fire pit to make your own s'mores, chair massages, photobooth, goodie bags, tours, photographers and more! Even better, it's all free! If you choose, your donation can be used towards purchasing a yearly membership to Reflection Riding which offers guests the opportunity to experience lush forest, a big wide-open pasture, rescue animals, a treehouse and beautiful pathways. The Chattery Presents "Fall Burlap Wreath Making"

Where: Chattanooga Workspace, 302 W. 6th St.

Get ready to dress up your front door and make the neighbors a little jealous with a beautifully handmade Fall burlap wreath. Join us for a super fun evening with creativity. You will learn the process of how to pick and arrange Instagram worthy wreaths to deck out that front door. So grab your friends and get ready to spend an evening learning and making beautiful things together. Best part? The wreath can be used for every season. You'll simply change out the decorations.
