The Chattery Presents: Introduction to Improv Comedy!

When: 2-4 p.m.
Where: Jazzanooga Arts SPACE, 431 E MLK Blvd.
Cost: $5 - $10

Improvisation, or improv, is a form of live theatre in which the plot, characters and dialogue of a game, scene or story are made up in the moment. Improv is more than just making it up on the spot, however—there are a set of rules and guidelines to adhere to. Participants will learn the basic rules through practicing games and simple scenes. Winter Workshop Series: Fresh Water Snorkeling

Relax and enjoy an educational adventure offering a view into the aquatic world just beneath the water's surface. Jim Herrig, aquatic biologist with the Cherokee National Forest, will present information and visual inspiration about Fish Watch, a guided educational summer program which teaches about freshwater mussels, snails, aquatic insects, crayfish, salamanders and the numerous varieties of freshwater fish in our local streams. Lookout Wild Film Festival 2016 will feature 67 outdoor adventure and conservation films over four days.
