Annual Red Bank Christmas Festival & Parade

When: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
Where: Red Bank City Park, 3820 Dayton Blvd. 
Cost: Free

This festival is always full of local talented vendors with booths that include crafts, jewelry, food, handmade items, pets for adoption and more. Get in some last minute Christmas shopping or just enjoy the parade for free! Santa & Mrs. Claus will arrive with the parade and stay in the park for pictures all afternoon. There will also be live music on stage to get you in the Christmas spirit. 


Saturday, December 3

Mainx24

When: 8 a.m. to 11:45 p.m.
Where: Main Street, Chattanooga
Cost: Free

The 10th annual MAINX24 street party will take place on the Southside starting at 8 a.m. with everyone's favorite pancake breakfast fundraiser at Fire Hall #1. The 24-hour long festival will continue with people in the streets, music in the air and the wonderful aromas of Chattanooga food. It's parades, pancakes, art, local shops, restaurants, artisans, poetry, caroling, music, dancing, food and fun—all in celebration of Main Street and the surrounding Southside! Chattanooga Boys Choir Singing Christmas Tree

When: Noon-1:45 p.m. and 5:30-7:15 p.m.
Where: Tivoli Theatre, 709 Broad Street
Cost: $20-40

Based on the theme The Night Before Christmas, guests will be treated to a re-telling of Clement Clark Moore's classic poem narrated by WRCB weatherman Paul Barys. The members of the Chattanooga Boys Choir, Ballet Tennessee, and the Metropolitan Bells will "interrupt" Mr. Barys with musical interludes highlighting the classic story of awaiting a visit from Santa Claus. Traditional carols, favorite holiday songs and Santa-inspired selections will put everyone in a festive mood for the holidays! Lee University Classic Christmas Concert

When: 3-5 p.m.
Where: Lee University Conn Center, 150 11th Street NE
Cost: Free

Celebrating its 27th year, this festive celebration of Christmas music features a variety of Lee University School of Music performers and guests. Ticket are complimentary but required. They can be reserved over the phone or in person through the Dixon Box Office, which is open weekdays from 3-6 p.m. one week prior to the concert date. On the concert date, any remaining tickets will be available at the concert location one hour before the event. Holiday Market in Miller Plaza

When: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Where: Miller Plaza, 850 Market Street
Cost: Free

Shop small, shop local and do it all in one place this holiday season at the second annual Holiday Market in Miller Plaza. River City Company is hosting this free shopping event which features a unique lineup of vendors and a shopping environment unlike any other market in town. In addition to gifts and treats, you can purchase fresh wreaths which help support Family Promise of Greater Chattanooga's mission to help low-income families achieve lasting independence. To keep adults and children entertained during the market, The Chattery will have free holiday craft projects available. Musical performances will occur throughout the evening by the Center for Creative Arts Jazz Band and the Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences choirs accompanied by a grand piano. The Daily Ration will also be on hand to serve wine, beer and hot chocolate as you shop.
