The second installment in the Foodie Film Series follows one man's journey to learn about the effects of too much sugar on the human body—but he only eats foods that are typically perceived and marketed as "healthy." Granola bars, cereals, juices, yogurt and the like! This hilarious film blatantly displays the pitfalls of eating sugar-packed foods and urges viewers to question which foods are truly wholesome. The Saturday following the showing of this film, Crabtree Farms will host a mindful eating workshop at the farm.

Thursday, February 2

When: 6-7:30 p.m.
Where: Outdoor Chattanooga, 200 River St.

In honor of Groundhog Day, Outdoor Chattanooga and Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center will host an outdoor ethics workshop related to critters on the trail. Get close to several rescued forest animals to gain a greater understanding of these creatures and learn more on how to prevent problematic and dangerous encounters while visiting the forest to hike or camp. Being good stewards of our natural world starts with understanding how to avoid a negative encounter, and techniques to properly critter proof your campsite including how to hang a bear bag. The workshop is suitable for all ages. No reservations required.
