Raise the Curtain Fundraiser

When: 8-9:30 p.m.  
Where: Chattanooga Dance Theatre, 5151 Austin Rd., Suite A
Cost: $15

Enjoy an evening of dancing and desserts featuring companies including Ballet Tennessee, Baylor Dancers, Chattanooga Ballet, Chattanooga Ballet's Children's Company, Chattanooga Dance Theatre, Project Motion and Violet Mire. Chattanooga Raqs! Bellydance show

When: 8-11 p.m. 
Where: Choo Choo Centennial Theatre, 1400 Market St. 
Cost: $12 - $17

Explore the ancient dance styles of the East with Chattanooga Rags, a bellydancing show starring dancer Aegela and featuring other dancers from around the Southeast. Fresh Meat & Greet

When: 6-8 p.m. 
Where: Chattanooga Brewing Company, 1804 Chestnut St.
Cost: Free

If you’ve ever wanted to know more about playing Roller Derby, this meet and greet is a perfect way to mingle with current players and figure out if that is something for you. Introduction to Kombucha & More

When: 6-7 p.m. 
Where: Chattanooga Workspace, 302 W. 6th St.
Price: $23

Learn all about the world of kombucha, jun and water kefir! All three are very similar, but in this class you will learn the differences, as well as the history and science of kombucha, jun, and water kefir. You will also learn how to make these fermented drinks at home, as well as how to flavor and carbonate your brews. Participants will walk away with a kombucha SCOBY, a jar of kombucha that they will finish fermenting at home, and a handout with a few basic recipes. For more information, visit thechattery.org.

Technology Of Quilting

Cost: Free for museum members; regular admission for non-members
