Ruby Falls Lantern Tours

3rd Annual Dalton Comic Book and Toy Convention

When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center, 2211 Dug Gap Battle Road, Dalton, GA 30720 
Cost: $10 for adults and children 12 and under are free 

The third annual Dalton Comic Book and Toy convention will feature special guest Marty Janette, former WWE wrestler, and American TV and film actor W.F. Bell who was in the Rob Zombie film 31 and also made appearances on the television shows MacGyver, The Vampire Diaries, and Sleepy Hollow. He is probably more recognized by people today however as a savior on the AMC show The Walking Dead. Also appearing will be the author of Zombie Road, David Simpson, who will be with The Minigun. The Zombie Truck will also be there along with Savannah Jade Wehunt and featured artist Eddie Price. There will also be tons of comic books, toys, and vintage and newly released items brought in by professional dealers from all around the southeast. The Chattery Presents "The Great Adult Egg Hunt and Hoppy Hour”

When: 2-6 p.m.
Where: The Sculpture Fields at Montague Park, 1800 Polk St. 
Cost:  $7

The Chattery’s first Great Adult Egg Hunt & Hoppy Hour combines the arts, community collaboration, and of course, education. Through a creative partnership, local artists will create one-of-a-kind works of art on an evergreen wooden egg, and adult participants will search for the eggs at Sculpture Fields. The event will conclude with a restaurant "hop" along Main Street to continue to build community and support local businesses. The Hoppy Hour starts at 4 p.m. Participants are encouraged to wear their Sunday best for added fun. There will be tunes from D J M C P R O, ice cream from Clumpies Ice Cream Co. and other fun things to keep guests refreshed and entertained.
