Swished for Wishes

When: 5-8 p.m.
Where: MaClellan Gym - UTC, 600 Douglas St.
Cost: $5

Join Chi Omega at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga for the Swishes for Wishes basketball tournament fundraiser for Make-A-Wish East Tennessee. Concessions will be available. Everyone is invited to come out and support Make-A-Wish East Tennessee, play ball or just enjoy watching the games. April 8-9

Sculpture Fields Grand Opening Event

When: Friday, April 8 from 6-10 p.m. and Saturday, April 9 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Sculpture Fields at Montague Park, 1800 Polk St.
Cost: Free

Celebrate the grand opening of Chattanooga's brand new international large-scale sculpture park which will be open to the public, free of charge, seven days a week starting on April 8. Saturday, April 9

Money School 2016

When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Brainerd Crossroads (BX), 4011 Austin St. 
Cost: Free

Money School is a free financial education day featuring financial professionals and non-profits from around Chattanooga. There will be 30 seminars for adults and youth including retirement planning, investing, estate planning, budgeting, starting a business, banking, social security, etc. For more information, email info@cneinc.org or call 423-756-6201.


April 15-16

Spring Native Plant Sale

When: Friday, April 15 from 1 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, April 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center, 400 Garden Road
Cost: Free - $10

Just in time for spring planting, visit Reflection Riding’s 29th Annual Spring Native Plant Sale. Multiple species of native plants will be available to purchase. There will also be wildflower walks and programming on topics such as native bees, hummingbirds, composting and rain barrels. For more information, visit reflectionriding.org.


Thursday, April 14

City Sweat: Yoga for All

When: 6-7 p.m.
Where: Miller Plaza, 850 Market Street
Cost: Free

Join Lululemon athletica Chattanooga Ambassador Kelsey Vasileff of Southern Sqweeze for a free public yoga class. Yoga for All is the first event for City Sweat which is a beginner-friendly community exercise series held the second Thursday of every month from April through July.
