Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

When: Fridays and Saturdays in July from 8-10:30 p.m.
Where: Signal Mountain Playhouse, Corner of Rolling Way & James Blvd. Signal Mountain, TN 37377 
Cost: $5-15

Signal Mountain Playhouse presents "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" directed by Allan Ledford and choreographed by David Wood, with musical direction by Michael Huseman. The cast features veteran actors who have graced many stages in the region. Door opens at 6 p.m. for ticket sales and lawn chair placement. Handicapped parking available. NoogaStrong Memorial Ride

When: 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: Sportsman's Warehouse, 6241 Perimeter Drive
Cost: $20

Join fellow Chattanoogans to remember the five brave American heroes who were killed in the terrorist attack this time last year and to honor the sacrifice that they made to ensure the safety of all of us, not only here in Chattanooga, but across America. The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. eastern time with kickstands up at 11 a.m. eastern time. Participants will ride approximately 45 miles and take a lunch break at Sequatchie County Veterans Memorial Park in Dunlap, Tennessee. From there will be another approximately 51 miles, ending the ride with a prayer at the Circle of Honor in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. River Gallery's July Wearables Show

When: Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 1-5 p.m. through July
Where: River Gallery, 400 E. Second St. 
Cost: Free

River Gallery's July Wearables Show features a contemporary fabric artist along with two jewelry artists dedicated to timeless styles, color selections and a comfortable feel. Jen Swearington, known for her Jenny Threads clothing line, creates hand-made clothing which accentuate appearance and joy they bring to the wearer. Mary Lynn Portera, local clay artist, creates jewelry from her ceramic beads and natural stones providing an organic palette that highlights most any type of clothing. Local jewelry artist, Katie Rogers, works with beads from multi-cultures to create a modern reinterpretation of the ancient talisman and adornment. Enjoy the exhibit of their work, open all of July.

The Chattery Presents: Garden to Table, Dips & Appetizers

Home gardens and local farmer's markets provide us with an abundance of fresh, in-season food. Join certified nutrition specialist Victoria Behm in a lively discussion of using healing herbs and veggies from local or home-grown sources for delicious summer snacks. Guests will learn to make (and get to eat!) herb garden pesto, stuffed cherry tomatoes and avocado-honey cream dip. All food is gluten-free, nut-free and vegetarian. Cirque du Soleil – OVO

Cirque du Soleil will be performing in Chattanooga for the first time ever in July 2016 with OVO, its newest touring show in arenas. The production will be presented at the McKenzie Arena from July 20 to July 24 for seven performances only as part of a global tour in arenas around North America. OVO, meaning "egg" in Portuguese, is a headlong rush into a colorful ecosystem teeming with life, where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy and movement.
