Comedian Dale Jones

The Comedy Catch and Giggles Grill, Chattanooga’s beloved comedy club and restaurant, will host guest comedian Dale Jones, a finalist on NBC’s The Last Comic Standing. Jones, who made it to the final 18 on the show, is hailed for his “machine gun style delivery and animated facials combined with quick improvisations and non-stop physical comedy.” He’s also been featured on Fox, The Comedy Network in Canada and in the movie "Out of Time" with Denzel Washington. Join the Chattanooga Zoo for its annual barbecue and beer tasting event, featuring some of the Scenic City’s best barbecue. Enjoy the zoo while sipping a beer and listening to a live bluegrass band. After-hours Times Free Press Tour

Where: Chattanooga Times Free Press, 400 E. 11th Street
Cost: Free

Go behind the scenes for an after-hours tour to learn how the staff at the Times Free Press makes sure that you have the news delivered to your door each morning. Attendees will see the new printing press and learn the history behind one of Chattanooga’s oldest institutions. Paint the ML King Mural

When: 6-9 p.m.
Where: Waterhouse Pavilion, 850 Market St.
Cost: Free

In the heart of Chattanooga, the city’s largest public art mural is being created by muralist Meg Saligman and her team—and they want your help! The 40,000 square foot mural on the AT&T building will depict the stories and history of the ML King district.
