International Scale Model Show

When: Specific times available on the website
Where: Chattanooga Convention Center, 1150 Carter St.
Cost: $12

The International Plastic Modelers Society's Annual Convention is coming to the Chattanooga Convention Center August 7th through the 10th. Scale modelers from around the world will be in attendance. There will be thousands of highly detailed scale models of airplanes, tanks, ships, cars, rockets and figures on display built by the best modelers in the world. 2nd Annual Chattanooga Children’s Business Fair 

When: Noon to 4:30 p.m. 
Where: Chattanooga Public Library, 1001 Broad Street
Cost: Free

ChattaBrew Tour

When: Specific times available on the website
Where: Various locations
Cost: $40

ChattaBrew Tour gives guests a behind-the-scenes brewery experience that isn't available to the general public. On each tour, you'll visit four different breweries over four hours, tasting their signature brews and seasonal selections while you learn the art and science of their craft. You'll also have time to grab a pint at each stop and even purchase cans and growlers to enjoy later. Ticket cost includes transportation on the climate-controlled ChattaBrew Tour beer bus, beer tastings at every stop, bottled water, and a Brewing 101 lesson from a knowledgeable tour guide. Venting & Gratitude: Journaling 101

When: 6-7 p.m. 
Where: Chattanooga Workspace, 302 W. 6th St. 
Cost: $15

Do you want to journal but think your thoughts aren't profound enough? Do you already journal and worry that it's a book of negativity and if someone found it they'd think you're a horrible and miserable person? Yes, we have this healthy outlet and yet have unhealthy thoughts about it. In this class, guests will talk about the relief of journaling and learn that you can actually have fun! The class will include writing exercises, exploring methods to find the one that feels both easy and powerful for you.
