Feed the Endangered Red Wolves

When: Noon
Where: Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center, 400 Garden Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37419
Cost: Free with admission

Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center is a proud participant in the Red Wolf Species Survival Plan (SSP). They currently have six endangered red wolves in a captive breeding program right here in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Meet in the Native Animal Exhibit for a discussion on the critically endangered red wolf, including the federal Species Survival Plan that brought them to the facility. Sign up for a chance to feed the wolves yourself, and give as you can to help them feed them after you leave. Summer Music Weekends

Where: Rock City Gardens, 1400 Patten Rd.

Chickamauga Battlefield Bike Ride

When: 9:30-11:30 a.m. 
Where: Chickamauga Battlefield Visitors Center, 3370 Lafayette Road, Fort Oglethorpe, GA
Cost: Free 

Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park and Outdoor Chattanooga will continue offering a series of free, historical bike tours through Chickamauga Battlefield, every third Saturday of the month from May to October.


Saturday, August 18 

Improv vs. Stand-Up

When: 10-11:30 p.m.
Where: Improv Chattanooga, 1800 Rossville Ave Suite 106
Cost: $10 in Advance, $15 day of show, $5 for students

It's a comedy showdown! Come see Improv comics battle stand up comedians in a winner take all competition! Each stand up will do a 7-minute set. Then the team of crack improvisors will take the stage to do a series of scenes based on that comic's set. Then, at the end of the night, you vote wth your applause as to who was funniest. Who'll win? This event is rated a hard R. No one under 18 admitted. Alcohol won't be sold on site, but this event is BYOB, and there will be concessions for sale. Jam and Bread 

When: 6-8 p.m.
Where: Creative Discovery Museum, 321 Chestnut Street
Cost: $3-5

Looking for a lively night of kid-friendly music and fun? Look no further. It's time for Jam and Bread featuring The Party Truck! Jam and Bread is a spirited music concert series for families and children that features live entertainment, pizza, and the chance to play in the Creative Discovery Museum after-hours. Dinner and dancing and music will be everywhere as local band The Party Truck, takes the stage to perform traditional and original songs for children. Music begins at 6:45 and will last approximately 40 minutes. Admission is $3 for members, $5 for non-members. Reservations are encouraged.
