Friday, Sept. 20

Chattanooga Song Circle

When: 7-9 p.m. 
Where: Bluegrass Grill, 55 East Main Street 
Cost: Free to $5

Chattanooga Song Circle, an intimate and fun evening with local songwriters, will kick off its inaugural concert at The Bluegrass Grill. Held in partnership with SoundCorps, this event provides a true listening room experience to hear top local artists perform original songs.Chattanooga songwriters Butch Ross and Emily Kate Boyd will join regular host Richard Daigle for the first event. "We have a wealth of excellent songwriters in our town and Chattanooga Song Circle will provide a special venue for people to hear them tell great stories through original songs," said Stratton Tingle, Executive Director for SoundCorps. The concert will be held every other Friday night at The Bluegrass Grill. Suggested donation is $5 and refreshments will be available for purchase.


Saturday, Sept. 21

Ringgold Feed & Seed High Cotton Vintage Market

When: 8 am. to 6 p.m. 
Where: Ringgold Feed & Seed Antiques, 403 High St.
Cost: Free

The Ringgold Feed & Seed High Cotton Vintage Market is the largest antique market in the Chattanooga area. Held during the town-wide Ringgold Junk Market, this event draws thousands of antique lovers and junk explorers every year. The Fall High Cotton Vintage Market will have antiques, vintage, rusty gold, midcentury items, handmade items and a ton more spread out in our parking lot and throughout the store. 


September 20-22

Mamma Mia!

When: Sept. 20-21 at 7:30 p.m. and Sept. 22 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. 
Where: The Colonnade Center, 264 Catoosa Circle
Cost: $13-17

The Colonnade Players are excited  to present the smash‐hit disco musical Mamma Mia! This hilarious and charming story unfolds on a Greek island, when, on the eve of her wedding, Sophie's search for her birth father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island. The story is woven around the timeless musical hits of ABBA, including notable songs such as "Dancing Queen," "Take a Chance on Me," "Super Trouper," and "The Winner Takes it All." Mamma Mia!, with music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus and book by Catherine Johnson, ran on Broadway from 2001‐2015 with 5,773 performances, and was adapted into a movie in 2008. Free Fall Festival 

When: Friday, Sept. 20 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, Sept. 22 from noon to 5 p.m. 
Where: Ooltewah Nursery & Landscape Co. Inc., 5829 Main Street
Cost: Free

The entire community is invited to help Ooltewah Nursery & Landscape Co. Inc. celebrate their 30th anniversary with a fun, family-friendly, fall festival. Some of the planned activities include games and prizes, inflatables, live bands and US 101, food trucks, door prizes, face painting, funny photo area and more. Bring a non-perishable food item for the food drive in support of Heaven's Bounty Food Ministry - a food pantry in Apison helping a lot of people in our community - for a chance to win a free vacation to the destination of your choice. Goals: Finish 2019 Strong
