Friday, September 29

Hurricane of Hops - MBBC's Disaster Relief Fundraiser

When: 5-11:45 p.m. 
Where: Moccasin Bend Brewing Co., 3210 S. Broad St. 
Cost: Free

At Hurricane of Hops, a portion of all beer sales that night will be sent to the Red Cross to assist with the relief efforts. There is also a T-shirt campaign through TeeBlaster. For every shirt sold, funds will be added to the donation. chriSte will be performing that night and donating their usual fee to the effort, while Crust Pizza on Broad will also be helping the cause by providing their cracker thin crust pizzas and donating the proceeds. To round things out, McKamey Animal Center will be bringing some of the animals they rescued from the affected area for pet loving Chattanoogans to take in. Visit the brewery for a fresh beer, enjoyable music and tasty treats while raising funds to help those in need.


Sept. 29 - Oct. 29

Rock City's Blowing Springs Farm featuring the Enchanted MAiZE

When: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
Where: Blowing Springs Farm, 271 Chattanooga Valley Road, Flintstone, GA 30725 
Cost: Free - $10 

Adventure for the whole family begins by getting lost in the corn maze at Rock City's Blowing Springs Farm! Make sure to fuel up with homemade funnel cakes and more before swinging by the Critter Corral to meet the lovable furry animals. A family outing is not complete without a little competition, so drive around in pedal carts for a friendly family race. End the night with a relaxing hayride made for the entire family. Fall, fun, laughter and enchantment await at Blowing Springs Farm!


Saturday, September 30 

Wags N' Wheels Car Show

When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: TVA Park at Chickamauga Dam, 3001 Kings Point Road 
Cost: Free

Join the Pet Placement Center for the first ever Wags N' Wheels Car Show. This event will help PPC raise funds to continue providing veterinary care and other services to the homeless animals in their care. The event will take place at the Chickamauga Dam recreation area off of Highway 153, and will include a collection of rolling art—hot rods, classics, muscle cars, exotics, and more. In addition, the Chattanooga Fire Department and the K-9 Unit of the Chattanooga Police Department will be on hand with live demonstrations. There will also be midway games, a dog kissing booth and a variety of local food and beverage trucks. Admission is free to the public, but all purchases, donations, car entrance fees, and game revenue will benefit the animals at PPC. Sunday, October 1

18th Annual CultureFest

When: 11 a.m to 4 p.m.
Where: Chattanooga Market, 1829 Carter Street
Cost: Free

Come experience the rich cultural diversity of Chattanooga through arts, food, dance, and live music. Thanks to Chattanooga State's International Community Outreach, the Chattanooga Market will boast live performances from local cultural groups including a must-see Parade of Nations! Enjoy a multicultural fashion show, dance contest and an exhibition of culturally-themed art. Local ethnic organizations will be on hand displaying cultural artwork, offering food samples and cooking demos along with other global customs. Activities for all ages include origami, yoga, dance instruction, henna hand painting, face painting, chopstick lessons, tea tasting, passport game, calligraphy, bocce and international board games.


Friday, October 6 - Saturday, October 7 

3 Sisters Bluegrass Festival

When: 6-10 p.m. 
Where: Ross’s Landing, 100 Riverfront Parkway 
Cost: Free

The 3 Sisters Festival (the three daughters of Fletcher Bright) has experienced a tremendous response since its 2007 inception and has featured a full schedule of some of the biggest names in bluegrass including Yonder Mountain String Band, Ricky Skaggs, Rhonda Vincent, Dan Tyminski and Del McCoury. Combining both traditional and contemporary bluegrass, this two-day event is becoming a nationally known bluegrass gathering. 2017's lineup will include Dismembered Tennesseans featuring founder Fletcher Bright, and many more top names in bluegrass. Food and beverages are for sale; no coolers are allowed at the festival. Bring your lawn chair, come early and stay late for the best in bluegrass.
