Columbus Ships - The Nina and the Pinta in Chattanooga

The Pinta and the Nina, replicas of Columbus' Ships, are open for tours in Chattanooga. The Nina, a caravel ship, was built completely by hand and without the use of power tools. Archaeology magazine called the ship "the most historically correct Columbus replica ever built." The Pinta, also a caravel, is considered by historians to be the space shuttle of the 15th century.
