Friday, Oct. 11

Whiskey, Wine and Shine 

When: 7-10 p.m. 
Where: Chattanooga Whiskey, 890 Riverfront Parkway 
Cost: $50 

The Chattanooga Sertoma Club presents our 7th annual charity event with Chattanooga Whiskey, wine, moonshine, beer, and food with live music plus dancing, a clogging demonstration and a silent auction. “Matilda”

It's not easy being a kid. Especially when your parents are crude, TV-addicted, book-bashing scoundrels and your heartless headmistress has a fondness for torturing children. Such is the plight – and plot – of the mischievous and magical "Matilda," a Tony Award-winning musical which opens the Chattanooga Theatre Centre's 2019-2020 season on Friday, September 20. Columbus Ships - The Nina and the Pinta in Chattanooga

When: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
Where: Chattanooga Pier, 200 Riverfront Parkway
Cost: Free to $8.50

The Pinta and the Nina, replicas of Columbus' Ships, are open for tours in Chattanooga. The Nina, a caravel ship, was built completely by hand and without the use of power tools. Archaeology magazine called the ship "the most historically correct Columbus replica ever built." The Pinta, also a caravel, is considered by historians to be the space shuttle of the 15th century. Both ships tour together as a new and enhanced sailing museum for the purpose of educating the public and school children. While in port, the general public is invited to visit the ships for a walk-aboard, self-guided tour. Admission charges are $8.50 for adults, $7.50 for seniors, and $6.50 for students 5 - 16. Yoga For Kids

Where: Miller Park, 928 Market St.
Cost: Free

Kick off the fall season with Young Yogaletts for a three-month kids yoga series in Miller Park!Bring the family, a yoga mat or towel and meet in Miller Park. Halloween Costumes are highly encouraged this month! The class is designed for children 5 to 8 years of age, but all ages are welcome.


Monday, Oct. 14

Beginner Astrology 

When: 6-7:30 p.m. 
Where: Chattanooga Workspace, 302 W. 6th St.
Cost: $15
