Georgia Winery Christmas Open House

When: 1:00-5:00pm
Where: Georgia Winery, 6469 Battlefield Pkwy
Cost: Free admission

This weekend is the perfect opportunity to combine an amazing experience with finding the perfect holiday gift for your loved one. The Georgia Winery is hosting their last two Christmas Open Houses on December 17th & 24th. Enjoy hot mulled wine, wine tastings, wine flights, and taste the newly released of their seasonal wines, Santa's Helper & Holiday Cheer. Not only is admission free, you can enjoy free wine tasting, free refreshments, and it is family friendly. There will be plenty of gift baskets to shop from to help you check off the last few names on your list. You can even create a custom gift basket to add your own personal touch! Friday, December 16th

The Local After Dark: Winter Holidays, What do you celebrate?

When: 6:30-8:30pm
Where: The Juicery & Kitchen, 48 East Main St.
Cost: Free

This time of year is filled with Christmas celebrations all month long. The Local is creating an inclusive environment by hosting an event where we can come together to celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa  and learn about each holiday’s unique traditions. Be sure to bring a new/unwrapped toy for donation to enter a giveaway. All toys will be donated to "The Forgotten Child Fund" located in Main St. The night will be filled with hot cocoa, snacks, story time, cookie decorating, and more! Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some)

When: 2:30pm,7:00pm, & 8:00pm
Where: Chattanooga Theatre Center, 400 River St.
Cost: $21.25-$26.25

The Chattanooga Theatre Centre is coming to the end of bringing you all things Christmas. Now through December 18th, what begins as the typical story of A Christmas Carol, takes a quick turn down comedy road making stops at all of your favorite holiday classics. “Why tell one classic Christmas story when you can tell them all? Lampooning everything from Dickens to Dr. Seuss and fruitcake to Frosty, this one-size-fits-all ugly Christmas sweater of a comedy takes you on a non-stop madcap tour of all your holiday favorites.” Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. This show is appropriate for ages 13 and up. Sunday, December 18th

Christmas Centerpieces Workshop

When: 4:30-6:00pm
Where: Joli Jardin, 1263 Market St. 
Cost: $125

Grab your friends for a cozy evening of festivity as you design your own Christmas centerpiece! Joli Jardin is hosting a class to teach you about creating a beautiful Christmas centerpiece taught by their very own in-house designer. Attendees will learn how to arrange an elegant holiday centerpiece and can expect to see a large array of winter blooms such as roses, holly, cedar, magnolia, pine, anemones, gomphrena, and more. All materials will be provided. You just need to bring your creativity! You will walk away with a wreath as well as increased knowledge in stylistic techniques and flower arranging tips. December 22nd & 29th

Tennessee Wine Train

When: 6:30-9:00pm
Where: Grand Junction Station, 4119 Cromwell Rd.
Cost: $95-$125

The Christmas season doesn’t always have to include Santa to be magical. If you are looking for a lovely experience with your partner, friends, or adult family members, there are 2 more chances for you to ride on the Tennessee Wine Train. Departing promptly at 6:30pm, you’ll enjoy sitting down for a three course dining experience with selected wine pairings by a Wine Conductor all while traveling on a restored 1924 dining car through parts of urban Chattanooga, as well as art and historic districts.
