Holiday Jubilee

Christmas season is in full swing and this upcoming week has countless ways to celebrate. This Friday, bring the family out to The Read House for an evening full of merriment at their Holiday Jubilee! Enjoy live entertainment, complimentary Hot Chocolate & Cider, Cookie stations, pictures with Santa & Mrs. Clause and much more! This event is free and no tickets are required and be sure to bring your own camera for photos with Santa. If you’re looking for something a little extra special to do for the evening, tickets are available for the Elf Workshop! Chattanooga Ballet presents The Nutcracker
When: 2:00pm & 7:30pm
Where: Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Auditorium, 399 McCallie Ave.

Enjoy a classic Christmas tradition of a night filled with live performances of a story of youth and bravery, and one the entire family will enjoy! Southeastern Trust presents Chattanooga Ballets The Nutcracker featuring the professional company, the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra performing live, and students from Chattanooga Ballets School and the region. Watch as the magical journey takes you from the battlefield with the Rat King, through the Land of Snow to the Land of Sweets. Rudolph Run- 5k & Family Fun Run

Where: Baylor School, 171 Baylor School Rd.

If you’re looking for a way to give back this holiday season, look no further. Celebrate rain or shine all abilities at the Rudolph Run 5k & Family Fun Run (1 mile) hosted by Baylor School this Sunday, December 11th. All proceeds will go to support Downside Up-- a local nonprofit that helps children with disabilities and their families build community through creative spaces and experiences. Saturday, December 10th
Chickamauga Christmas Parade
When: 6:30pm
Where: City of Chickamauga, 103 Crittenden Ave.
Cost: Free
This Saturday evening, if you’re in the North Georgia area, be sure to head to the Chickamauga Christmas Parade! This year’s theme is “The Gift of Christmas” and is sure to not disappoint. With over 30 company participants in their year’s parade, your family will have a blast watching all of the floats, cars, and people pass with some amazing displays and treats. This is a free event, but you will want to get there early to grab a great seat. Rumor has it that a special guest from the North Pole will make a special appearance as well! Bode for the Holidays
When: Sunday-Tuesday, 8am-8pm, Wednesday-Saturday, 8am-10pm
Where: Bode Chattanooga, 730 Chestnut St.

This December, Bode Chattanooga is hosting a month-long holiday pop-up by transforming into a Christmas wonderland called Bode for the Holidays. Guests can enjoy festive bites and drinks at their all-day café, Dawn, as well as boozy hot chocolate at the bar known as Dusk. Get ready to kick off the season with holiday movies, music, ornament decorating, gingerbread house crafting, Christmas tree decorating, Instagramable hangs, and postcards to Santa!
