Into the Woods

When: March 23 and 24 at 7:30 p.m. and March 25 at 2:30 p.m.
Where: Chattanooga State Humanities Theater, 4501 Amnicola Highway

The Chattanooga State Theatre and Music Departments present "Into the Woods." James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone's favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece... and a rare modern classic. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching. (from MTI's website). Stage and musical direction by Jennifer Arbogast Wilson. Orchestra conducted by Darrin Hassevoort. Saturday, March 24

Nature of Art: Climbing Chattanooga

When: 10 a.m. to noon
Where: Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center, 400 Garden Road
Cost: $10

Climb artfully with the Hunter and Reflection Riding. An art discussion will start the morning and inspire our bouldering. Meet in the Montlake Golf Club parking lot. After the art discussion, bouldering will begin around the front area of LRC. The program continues until noon but all participants are welcome to stay longer and climb on! Climbers will need to bring their own shoes and chalk, but crash pads are provided. All participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian present. For more information, call 423-821-1160.

Chattanooga Symphony & Opera Presents: Bugs Bunny at the Symphony II

When: 7:30-9:30 p.m.
Where: Tivoli Theatre, 709 Broad Street 
Cost: $28-90

"What's up, Doc?" Your favorite Looney Tunes characters are coming to the Tivoli Theatre in Bugs Bunny at the Symphony II! Legendary Looney Tunes stars including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Pepe Le Pew, Tweety, Sylvester, Wile E. Coyote, and Road Runner will be projected on the big screen while their extraordinary original scores will be performed by the Chattanooga Symphony. Conducted by George Daugherty, the performance will include acclaimed classics like What's Opera, Doc?, The Rabbit of Seville, and Rhapsody Rabbit, alongside eye-popping brand new Warner Bros. 3D theatrical shorts Rabid Rider and Coyote Falls. The Chattery Presents "Intermediate Squarespace"
