April 19-20

Last Chance for an Easter Bunny Visit

When: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: Hamilton Place, 2100 Hamilton Place Blvd.
Cost: Free

The Easter Bunny is at Hamilton Place's Center Court until Saturday, April 20! Visits are always free, and photo packages are available for purchase to preserve the holiday memories. See the website for photo pricing. Personal photography is not permitted.


Friday, April 19 

REI Sunset Kayak Tour

When: 7-9 p.m.
Where: Chester Forst Park, 2277 N. Goldpoint Circle 
Cost: $65 - $75

Break out of your usual evening routine and join the REI instructors for a sunset tour at one of this favorite kayaking destination! After some basic instruction, guests will take a short paddle tour of the area and find a nice spot to watch the sunset from out on the water. This is a great way to get some extra paddling practice and meet new friends. They will provide kayaks, all the gear and basic paddle instruction, but please bring your own headlamp. Pre-Requisite: Learn to Kayak Class or equivalent skills; ages 14 and up are welcome. For more information or to register, visit rei.com/events.


April 20-21

EarthDayz at Rock City Gardens

When: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
Where: 1400 Patten Rd.
Cost: $14.95 - $26.95

Rock City partners with Orange Grove for the 11th year of this naturally fun outdoor event. Learn how to use recycled materials to make-and-take a fun activity and meet live raptors during the Birds of Prey shows. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit seerockcity.com/buy-tickets.


Saturday, April 20 

The Chattery Presents: The Great Adult Egg Hunt and Hoppy Hour

When: 2-6 p.m. 
Where: Sculpture Fields at Montague Park, 1800 Polk St.  
Cost: $7 ahead of time or $10 at the door

The Chattery is hosting the Second Annual Great Adult Egg Hunt & Hoppy Hour featuring The Great Adult Egg Hunt at Sculpture Fields from 2-4 and then happy hour at various local restaurants from 4-6 p.m. This second annual event combines the arts, community collaboration, and of course, education. Through a creative partnership, local artists will create one-of-a-kind works of art on an evergreen wooden egg, and adult participants will search for the eggs at Sculpture Fields. The event will conclude with a restaurant "hop" along Main Street to continue to build community and support local businesses. The Hoppy Hour starts at 4 p.m. Participants are encouraged to wear their Sunday best for added fun. For more information, visit eventbrite.com.


April 26-27

EcoField Day

When: 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 
Where: Miller Park, 900 Market St. 
Cost: Free

This is Chattanooga's official 2019 Earth Day celebration. Come enjoy EcoField games, vendors, food trucks and beverages at this free two-day festival with live music on Saturday. For more information, visit greenspaceschattanooga.org.
