Crabtree Farms is partnering with local chef and Holistic Nutrition Expert, Maite Bou to offer a unique CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) workshop that will help guests discover new ways to enjoy the produce they receive in their box each week. CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) programs provide consumers with a weekly share of sustainably grown and local food from the farm. With CSAs, farmers are able to introduce their members to new varieties of produce not found in mainstream grocery stores, which can pose a challenge to consumers who are unfamiliar with the produce and how to prepare it. Maite's workshop offers variations and options for cooking the items that match guests’ dietary preferences and needs. Each participant will receive a free downloadable/printable PDF with a step by step recipe booklet and bonus recipes. Space is limited. For more information or to sign up, email ajaeger@crabtreefarms.org.
