Saturday, July 2nd

Pops On The River

When: 5:30pm
Where: Coolidge Park
Cost: Free

Pops on the River is back! Grab your chairs, blankets and coolers to spread out on the lawn and enjoy some amazing music and a fantastic fireworks show. The evening will start at 5:30pm with a performance by Love, Peace, & Happiness Band followed by The Chattanooga Symphony and Opera, who will start their patriotic performance at 8:00pm. While listening to great live music from the main stage, be sure to enjoy the food trucks and local artist vendors. Beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase as well. Monday, July 4th

3rd Annual 4th of July Ruck

When: 8:00am-11:00pm
Where: Greenway Farms, 5051 Gann Store Rd
Cost: Free

If you’re looking for a great way to squeeze in some exercise, The Sweat Club gym is hosting their 3rd annual 4th of July Ruck! To avoid the heat, the walk/run will begin at 8:00am at Greenway Farms in Hixson. There will be 2 different groups for those wanting to walk and those wanting to run. If you plan to participate in the run, you will need some sort of additional weight such as a weighted vest. This even is free and a great way to start your holiday weekend! Sunday, July 3rd

Collegedale Freedom Celebration

When: 4:00pm
Where: Collegedale Commons, Swinyar Cir.
Cost: Free

The City of Collegedale is hosting the Collegedale Freedom Celebration this Sunday at Collegedale Commons. The celebration will begin with live performances by Ain’t Just Whistlin Dixie, New Grass Express, LouWamp & the Bluetastics, and East TN Symphony Orchestra. Along with entertainment, there will also be multiple food trucks available, inflatables, petting zoo, trackless train rides, & face painting for the kids to enjoy at the Veterans Park.  Event begins at 4:00 pm. Bring your chairs, blankets, and appetite for an evening full of family fun! End the night with a fireworks display around 9:30 pm. For more information, checkout their website here

 


Saturday, July 2nd

Soddy Daisy Independence Celebration

When: 9:00am
Where: Soddy Daisy Lake and Municipal Park, 11312 Dayton Pike
Cost: Free

This Saturday enjoy an entire day full of fun! Start your day at 9:00am shopping local handmade arts and crafts, various types of foods, live music, children’s games, face painting, and a car show with a swap meet. The stage will be full of live music throughout the entire day featuring Barefoot Nellie and Company, Wade Henry Sims and The Last Band, and Tyson Leamon and the Holy Gamblers. Along with the live music and shopping, skilled artisans will be doing live wood carving for you to watch as they create beautiful works of art. End the day with a grand finale with the spectacular fireworks display! The show will begin at dark so be sure to bring your blankets and chairs. For more details about the day, click here.


Saturday, July 2nd

Catoosa County Fireworks Fest

When: 1:00pm-10:00pm
Where: The Colonnade, 264 Catoosa Cir.
Cost: Free

If you're looking to spend your weekend in the north Georgia area, don't think we forgot about you! Pack up the family and head over to the Catoosa County Fireworks Festival this Saturday! The 3rd Annual Fireworks Fest will offer a maker's market in the Colonnade starting at 1:00pm to enjoy shopping handmade arts and crafts. The outdoor festival will begin at 5:00pm at the North West Georgia Amphitheater. The family friendly event will have inflatables and activities in the Kid's Zone, food trucks, and live music featuring The Hullenders, The Band Raven, and Past To Present.
