Fall 2022 Chattanooga Boutique Warehouse Sale

When: 10:00am-6:00pm
Where: Stratton Hall, 3146 Broad St.
Cost: Free admission

Would you love to find fun, unique clothes, accessories, and gifts from various boutiques and artisans at a huge discount? This weekend, The Chattanooga Boutique Warehouse Sale is hosting its bi-annual sale this weekend where you can shop from many different vendors for fantastic deals on women's apparel, shoes & accessories, men's clothing, plus sizes, gifts, children's clothing, handmade jewelry, candles & offerings for your home. This event will start opening night on Thursday with an entry of $15 where 100% of the proceeds will go to the Chattanooga Pediatric Foundation. For the remaining days, there will be no cost for admission. Be sure to wear comfortable, but stylish- of course, shoes to browse isles and isles of merchandise. The Great Kiwanis Duck Race

When: 1:00pm
Where: Walnut St. Bridge (Northside), 1 Walnut Street
Cost: Free for Spectators

Are you ready for the greatest rubber duck race of all time? Join the Kiwanis Club of Chattanooga for The Great Kiwanis Duck Race to help raise money to fund two Hamilton County schools with new inclusive play equipment. Watch as 4,000 rubber ducks are dropped and race down the Tennessee River. The first place duck will win $2,000, second place will win $1,000, and third place will win $500. The Kiwanis Club of Chattanooga is a service organization whose objective is to bring aid to children in need. The majority of their efforts benefit children in the Chattanooga community through direct service and charitable contributions. Saturday, August 20th

17th Annual St. Jude Children's Hospital Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show

When: 8:00am-3:00pm
Where: CHI Memorial Battlefield Parkway Campus, 4700 Battlefield Pkwy
Cost: $20 Entry fee for cars, Free for spectators

Calling all trucks, cars, and motorcycles of any make and model! The 17th annual St. Jude Children’s Hospital Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show is happening this weekend at the CHI Memorial Battlefield Parkway Campus. To enter a vehicle the entry fee is $15 when you pre-register or $20 day on the day of the show. Spectators enjoy the show for free. There will be a Top 5 in over 20 classes, specialty trophies, a 50/50 drawing, a silent auction, over 100 goodie bags, tons of door prizes, plus a silent auction. There will also be food and a live DJ for fun entertainment. All money raised goes to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. For more details and event updates, check out their event page here.

SPLASH Summer Arts Festival

Where: Miller Park, 928 Market St.
Cost: Free

Looking for a way to splash some creativity into your weekend? SPLASH is hosting a Summer Arts Festival this Saturday and it will not disappoint! Art, music, vendors, spoken word, dance, food, activities, and more! With special appearances from the Brainerd High School Pantherettes, Rhyme ‘n’ Chatt, Ryan Oyer, and Chattanooga Ballet, the day will be filled with tons of performances, artists, and vendors for fun art activities! SDCL WILD Community Elevation Celebration

When: 5:00-8:30pm, Movie starts at 9:00pm
Where: Soddy Daisy Veterans Park, 9009 Dayton Pike
Cost: Free

The Soddy-Daisy Community Library invite you to the WILD Community Elevation Celebration and Movie in the Park! Get ready to get WILD as everyone comes together to celebrate literacy and the nonprofits who serve the Soddy Daisy community. All are welcome to this day full of wild animals, the wild west, and wild adventures. There will be fun for all with crafts, games, a scavenger hunt, story telling, and more! Food trucks will also be onsite. The Soddy-Daisy Community Library will be passing out free books to children 18 and under. Over 30 organizations that support the community will also be on hand with games, giveaways, demonstrations, and community resource information.
