Saturday, August 27th

The Cam Run

When: 7:30am 
Where: 10 Hamm Rd.
Cost: $20-$40

Cameron Bean, a Chattanooga, TN native, was a standout athlete in his youth and became an accomplished runner during his collegiate career at Samford University and into the years following. Cameron tragically lost his life in 2015 during a training run. In his memory, The Cam Run­­: Cameron Bean Memorial 5K & Magnum Mile were created. This Saturday, start your morning off honoring Cameron with a 5k run along scenic Moccasin Bend Road. Experienced and casual runners alike are welcome! The morning 5k will qualify runners based on performance for The Magnum Mile, a festive 1-mile sprint later in the evening. A cash prize will be awarded to the top 3 men and women winners of The Magnum Mile. This event is family-friendly and will even host a Cam Kids Fun Run for kids ages 12 and under. Hula Dance Class

Where: Dance Tonight Chattanooga, 46 East Main Street

Summer may be coming to an end, but that does not mean that you can’t dance like you’re living your best life on a Hawaiian island. Back by popular demand, Dance Tonight Chattanooga is hosting a Hula dance class this Saturday. This group class will be taught by Kendra Norwood who will be bringing with her a fabulous attitude and her experience of teaching in Hawaii. Nooga Paws Celebrates 10 years

Cornhole Sunday Funday Workshop

Football season is coming up and weekends spent with family and friends tailgating or watching the game from home are about to fill up our calendars! As we all know, football is not just about the game. We spend our day with people enjoying amazing food, drinks, and fun outdoor games like cornhole. Board & Brush is a DIY wood sign studio and is hosting a workshop this Sunday that is sure to jazz up your weekend football! Create your own unique cornhole set for your family or as the perfect gift! All materials will be provided and an instructor will be there to guide you step-by-step to create your cornhole set. Repticon Chattanooga

Turtle, lizards, snakes, oh my! Repticon Reptile Shows is making its way through Chattanooga this weekend! This Saturday and Sunday, stop by Camp Jordan for a fun and educational experience with reptiles and other exotic animals.
