3 Sisters Bluegrass Festival

When: September 30th, 6:00-11:00pm & October 1st, 12:00-10:00pm
Where: Ross’ Landing, 201 Riverfront Pkwy

Back for the Crystal Anniversary Edition, the 3 Sisters Bluegrass Festival kicks off the 2-day event tonight! The festival honors the musical legacy of bluegrass fiddler Fletcher Bright, by offering a free two-day festival to the community that features some of the biggest names in traditional and not-so-traditional bluegrass. Since its inception in 2007, the festival has grown to be an award winning festival and is now recognized as a premier event in the Bluegrass community. Tonight's line up includes The New Dismembered Tennesseans, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, and Bela Fleck My Bluegrass Heart. Be sure to grab some sleep and head back out tomorrow morning to catch Bluetastic Fangrass, Balsam Range, The Gibson Brothers, and more! This event is free for all and is always an amazing time! Rock City's Rocktober Fest

When: 8:30am-5:00pm
Where: Rock City Gardens, 1400 Patten Rd.
Cost: $17.95-$27.95

Ready to kick off Oktoberfest Rock City style? This year's Rocktober Fest is packed with fall fun woven with German heritage throughout in honor of their founder, Frieda Utermoehlen Carter. Celebrations will be held all month with musical entertainment from The Musik Meisters and The WurstBrats as well as activities including Rock City Raptors, Dennis Hart the Caricature Artist, Jerry the Mime, and pumpkin painting. You also get the full experience with dining options including Beer-braised Bratwurst, Beer Cheese Soup Bread Bowls, Oktoberfest Beers, Pumpkin Spice Fudge, and more! Dread Hollow Revolt 2022

Sunday scaries will be the least of your worries as we get closer to Halloween. The beginning of October means Dread Hollow makes its return and this year will be next level! Experience the darkest of all evils revolt to seize control of Dread Hollow’s bloody, unhallowed ground. Vengeance for untold wicked deeds consumes those who dare enter. Experience the walkthrough or take on the challenge in a Dread Hollow Escape Room. Trapped and forced to take part in a serial killer's sinister mind games, you have 30 minutes to solve the riddles to earn your freedom or fail and become part of his monstrous collection! More Than Pink Walk

Where: Hamilton Place, 2100 Hamilton Place Blvd
Cost: Donations or raised money

After two years of virtual walks, the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk is back in person! Chattanooga is coming together once again to walk for those who can't, fundraising for our community with the goal of preventing and ending breast cancer. Hamilton Place Mall is this year's host which means that not even the weather can stop this walk from happening! Due to the impending weather forecast this weekend, the walk has been moved inside Hamilton Place Mall where participants will make 2 laps around the inside starting at the food court. The ultimate goal of this walk is to fundraise for the cause, but if you're just signing up, you can also make a donation if that is easier. To register, head to their website by clicking here

Adventure Van Expo-Chattanooga, TN

The Adventure Van Expo is coming to Chattanooga this weekend. Open house vans, DIY contest, live music, food trucks, camping, and more! Adventure Vans are the latest evolution of the camper van started by the Westphalia (VW Camper bus) now these fuel efficient, 4x4, nimble and fun to drive vehicles are taking over ski area, off-grid campsites, and road tripping all over the country. Come check out the custom builds check out some #vanlife stuff, see old friends and meet new ones. There will also be 4x4 trucks with roof top tents, campers, and tent trailer systems as well.
