Nathan Torgerson earns local real estate honors

Nathan Torgerson of The Torgerson Team at Keller Williams Realty was recently presented the honor of Highest Closed GCI (Gross Commissionable Income) By Agent as well as the Most Closed Units By Agent awards. 

“Each year we recognize the top groups, teams and individual agents in our office for their accomplishments in the year before,” says Nathan Brown, chief leadership officer for Keller Williams Realty of Greater Downtown Chattanooga. “For someone to earn these awards in particular, they have to be ridiculously effective and efficient at providing phenomenal service to clients, otherwise (the client) wouldn’t repeat business with that agent.”

Three or more agents working together is considered a group, a team of agents consists of two agents and an individual agent is one who does all of their contract work solo. Torgerson was awarded the high honors of Most Closed Units and Highest Closed GCI for 2016 in the individual agent category. 

“Being the #1 individual agent at Keller Williams Greater Downtown Realty not only for volume sold, but also the number of units, is an honor,” says Torgerson. “We have about 250 agents in our market center, so to be recognized is overwhelming.”

With 71 units sold in 2016, Torgerson had not only an award-winning year, but a record breaking year for Keller Williams of Greater Downtown Chattanooga, says Brown. 

“I think that’s the highest closed GCI of an individual agent we’ve ever had,” he says.

This isn’t the first time Torgerson has been recognized for excellent work in the real estate industry. Just last year, he was named one of America’s most productive sales associates as a part of REAL Trends America’s Best Real Estate Agents, the newly issued ranking report produced by REAL Trends and sponsored by Zillow Group.

He is now a member of the “America’s Best Real Estate Agents,” and ranked number 68 for the state of Tennessee. Torgerson is one of only eight Chattanooga realtors to receive this recognition. In 2015, he was also recognized nationally by the American Institute of Real Estate Professionals as one of 10 agents to receive a Client Satisfaction Award. 

“I wouldn't have been able to do it without my past clients trusting me to fulfill their American dream of homeownership,” Torgerson says. “We strive to make sure all our clients are taken care of and are well-informed about the real estate market and their transaction.”
