This cabin is constructed of hand-hewn Canadian Western Hemlock logs and is lovingly named Pipsissewa by the current homeowner after a wildflower that grows on the property. Local stones were harvested to construct the two story fireplace in the great room. The cabin offers a rustic get-away on a 6+/- acre western brow lot on Lookout Mountain. This area of Lookout Mountain is experiencing increased interest because of McLemore with its recently opened Cloudland Hotel, a Hilton Curio collection hotel and convention center, its Highlands golf course and soon to be open course named The Keep. McLemore has several restaurants for dining choices and the nearby famous Canyon Grill is a 'destination restaurant'. Adding to the popularity of this area is its proximity to Chattanooga and all the entertainment, fine dining and recreational opportunity it provides. The cabin is located within two hours of Atlanta, Birmingham, Huntsville, and Nashville.
