Saturday, July 1 and Tuesday, July 4 

Lake Winnepesaukah

Spend the day at Lake Winnepesaukah’s SOAKya Water Park and celebrate the Fourth! Featuring a lazy river and wave lagoon, as well as water slides and a toddler splash park, SOAKya Water Park is a great way to beat the heat as a family. Lake Winnie will be lighting things up July 1 and 4 with fireworks displays beginning at 10 p.m. From now until September 5, guests can purchase an all-inclusive ticket to enjoy both Lake Winnie and the water park for $34.95 ($17.95 for children 2 and under and seniors 55 and older). 


Monday, July 3

Pops on the River

150 River St, Chattanooga, TN 37405

The 2017 Pops on the River Independence Day celebration will take place in Coolidge Park and will feature a free outdoor patriotic concert by the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera (CSO) as well as performances from veteran songwriters with “Operation Song.” Come for the music beginning at 5 p.m. and stay for the large fireworks display scheduled for its conclusion at approximately 9:45 p.m. The earlier, the better to beat the crowds in order to find a seat. There’s a free shuttle service from 4:30-11 p.m. leaving from the Unum lots between 4th and 5th Streets downtown so you can avoid most of the struggle of finding parking. Be sure to bring lawn chairs or a blanket! 


Monday, July 3

Collegedale’s Independence Day Concert and Fireworks

4910 Swinyar Drive, Collegedale, TN 37315-1880 

The city of Collegedale is celebrating the Fourth with it’s 12th annual Independence Day Concert and Fireworks event held at the Collegedale Veteran's Park. For venders will be onsite and available beginning at 4 p.m. The music will begin at 5 p.m. with Matt Chancey, The Von Wamps at 6 and then the featured artist, Sawyer Fredericks, at 7 p.m. Don’t miss the performance by the East Tennessee Symphony Orchestra happening next, followed by the fireworks at 9:45 p.m. 


Tuesday, July 4th

Chattanooga Lookouts - Fireworks! 

201 Power Alley, Chattanooga, TN 37402

On July 4, the Chattanooga Lookouts will play the Tennessee Smokies. Grab a hot dog and enjoy the game, but don’t leave early! Immediately following the game with be a fireworks display.
