RiverRocks - Best Town (For) Ever
When: 6-10 p.m.
Where: 700 Block of Cherry Street
Cost: Free
This free, public event held in the 700 block of Cherry Street, including businesses and alleyways along the way, will serve as the finale event for RiverRocks and celebrate much of what makes Chattanooga so special, including local musical entertainment, local food and brews, elevated slack lining, circus-type roving performances and an expo of Chattanooga's outdoor outfitters and nonprofits. Acres of Darkness: Haunted Trail & Family Adventure
When: Family area 7:30-9:30 p.m.; Haunted trails 8-11 p.m.
Where: Audubon Acres, 900 N. Sancturary Road
Cost: $10-15
Face the forest's natural dangers and more in Chattanooga's naturally terrifying haunted attraction. Featuring an all new cast of characters and surprises, the 2016 Haunt Trail is haunted by a host of terrors you won't see anywhere else. The Acres of Darkness is fun for the entire family with activities and entertainment for all ages. Play it safe on the kiddie trail or brave the Haunted Forest Trail. A family area includes a hayride, kid's activities, a black light maze and inflatables. All proceeds benefit the environmental conservation and education programs of the Chattanooga Audubon Society. Chattanooga Oktoberfest
When: Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 16 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Chattanooga Market, 1829 Carter Street
Cost: Free
As Chattanooga's oldest and largest Oktoberfest celebration, this festival draws crowds locally and regionally each year. Many come to enjoy the sights, smells and sounds of the German traditions, bringing their families for a day of entertainment, shopping and live musical performances. The annual festival includes an array of Oktoberfest traditions: brats and other German inspired foods, four bier gartens featuring over 99 local and season craft brews and the Wurstbrats Oompah Band.

Arts Meow Art Sale
When: Noon to 4 p.m.
Where: Coolidge Park, 200 River Street
Cost: Free
The fourth annual ARTS MEOW, a celebration of community cats is scheduled on National Feral Cat Day. The art sale features cat-themed works by local artists. Proceeds will benefit The Alice Fund, providing medical care and support for cats in need.
