Wine Yoga

Cost: $15, which includes one hour of yoga and a glass of wine

The Chattery Presents "Facing Your Finances: Take a Financial Selfie”

Where: Edney Innovation Center, 1100 Market St.

Does your family know where your important papers are—your will, your advanced medical directives, your life insurance? Even better question, do you have any of these in the first place? In this class, participants will be taking a financial “selfie”—recognizing the strengths and weaknesses of their finances and looking for gaps and opportunities in their current financial life. This is part one of a two-part series, and there is a discount if you sign up for both classes. Guests should bring a laptop or iPad to help them in the interactive class. Are you ready for a swanky evening filled with live music and fantastic local artists? Check out the annual smART silent art auction benefitting the outreach programs of the Southern Lit Alliance. Providing outreach programs all across the Hamilton County area, the Southern Lit Alliance is dedicated to educating and creating opportunities to underserved communities. With the recent success of their reading groups at the Bradley County Jail and the Revitalibrary Project at the Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute, Southern Lit Alliance hopes to expand their reach to further serve Chattanooga. The Telling Project: Chattanooga

Where: Chattanooga State Humanities Theater, 4501 Amnicola Highway
Cost: Free

More than 40 original productions of The Telling Project have been presented nationwide. Each production tells the unique stories of local veterans and their families, told by the veterans themselves. Chattanooga State is proud to host the Chattanooga Telling Project with six veterans and family members from the Chattanooga area. Their stories are humorous, heartfelt, moving and profound.
