Chattanooga Latin Nights

When: 7-8 p.m. 
Where: The Camp House, 149 E M L King Blvd, Chattanooga, TN 37402
Cost: $10-12

Enjoy an exciting night of Latin music, dancing and food in downtown Chattanooga! The event will include complimentary salsa dancing lessons from Jesse Ramos of G2G Salsa and live music from Carlos Colon & The Tropical Swing Band, followed by DJ Flux 308, who will be playing all your favorite Latino beats. A portion of the event's proceeds will be donated to Chattanooga State's Latino Scholarship Fund.


Tuesday, November 10 

Learn to Make Sweet & Savory Hand Pies

When: 6-7:30 p.m. 
Where: Chattanooga Workspace, 302 W. 6th St. 
Cost: $29.48

Get ready for Thanksgiving by learning how to make cute, easy and delicious hand pies. Revel Pastry Company’s Charity Everett will teach the class how to make both a savory pie which includes butternut squash, sage and sequatchie cove cumberland cheese, and a sweet pie with maple, apple and sweet potato. CSO Veteran’s Day Concert

When: 7-8 p.m.
Where: Memorial Auditorium, 399 McCallie Ave.
Cost: Free

The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera will pay tribute to the veterans of our armed forces in this free concert featuring works such as Armed Forces Salute, Custer's The American Frontier and the traditional Taps.


Thursday, November 12 

Free Family Night at Creative Discovery Museum

When: 5:30-8 p.m.
Where: Creative Discovery Museum, 321 Chestnut Street
Cost: Free

Parents and children can enjoy learning together for free on Thursday, November 12 at the Creative Discovery Museum. The event, which offers free admission for children and adults, is sponsored by TVA.

Hunter Museum Spectrum 2015 Silent Auction

When: 6-9 p.m.
Where: Hunter Museum of American Art, 10 Bluff View
Cost: $50

The Hunter Museum’s Spectrum 2015 weekend event kicks off Thursday evening with cocktails, heavy hors d'oeuvres and a Silent Auction. The Art Selection Committee, chaired by Alexis and Barry Bogo, has been combing galleries in multiple cities, including Austin, New York, Atlanta and Nashville, to present a variety of art at the auction.
