Wednesdays in February

Archery Classes 

When: 3:30-6 p.m.
Where: Outdoor Chattanooga, 200 River St.Free

Take aim at Outdoor Chattanooga's "Try Archery" class. This free indoor class offers a hands-on opportunity to learn more about the sport of archery. Concentrating on range safety rules and fundamentals of archery, the class is taught using the National Archery in Schools Program (NASP) equipment and procedures. All sessions are walk-in, open to ages 6 and up. No reservation or prior experience required. All equipment and instruction provided. Just show up, take aim and give archery a try!


Friday, February 9-11 and 16-27

Disney's 'The Little Mermaid'

When: 7:30-9:30 p.m.
Where: The Colonnade Center, 264 Catoosa Circle, Ringgold, GA 30736 
Cost: $13 - $17

The Colonnade Players presents the musical production of Disney's "The Little Mermaid,” the story of a mermaid named Ariel whose biggest dream is to be able to live on land after she falls in love with a handsome prince that she rescued after he ends up in the ocean during a violent storm. Longing to become human and be with the prince, Ariel bargains with a Sea Witch and gives up her beautiful voice in exchange for human legs. The bargain is not without peril and conditions. Soap Making

When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Crabtree Farms, 1000 E 30th St. 
Cost: $35-40

Interested in making your own soap? It's not difficult, but there is a chemistry behind it and safety measures you must take. In this three-hour basic soap making class you will learn the basics of cold-process soap making. The ingredients, soap making utensils and safety equipment needed to make your own natural bars of soap will be provided. In addition, there will be a variety of essential oils and botanicals available for use. At the end of the class you will take your soap home in its mold to sit for 24 hours before being sliced and left to cure for 4-6 weeks. Valentine's Day Couple's Massage Workshop

When: 5:30 p.m. wine and chocolate reception; workshop at 6-6:30 p.m.

Learn how to pamper your significant other with a massage by joining Studio 59's Couple Massage Class this Valentine's Day! Licensed Massage Therapist, Meagan Stone, will be teaching participants how to perform a therapeutic massage that can ease stress and tension while drawing the two of you together and deepening your connection through touch. There is a $60 Reservation fee for each couple. Adulting: Staying Afloat
