Summer break is coming to a close for many here in Chattanooga, Tennessee. As we gear up for an upcoming season change, sending our growing kiddos back to school, or simply just looking for a fun day out with our friends, Chattanooga has plenty of options when it comes to shopping! If you are new to this wonderful city or maybe looking to venture out from your usual stores, we’ve got you covered. We put together a list of great places around town to shop that is sure to have something for everybody!
Hamilton Place Mall
Hamilton Place Mall is Chattanooga’s largest shopping mall. With over 200 stores inside the mall or in surrounding plazas, it is definitely your one stop shop for everybody! Hamilton Place Mall is home to several large department stores such as Belk and Dillards as well as specialty stores like H&M, American Eagle, Altar’d State, Foot Locker, Bath & Body Works, and many, many more! If you are looking to refreash your wardrobe, update your home, buy the latest technology, decorate a dorm, or grab those last minute back to school items, Hamilton Place is where you want to go. With a food court inside the mall and several restaurants surrounding, even the pickiest of eaters will have no trouble finding something to eat!
Be sure to drive around the outside to find even more stores at the Terrace at Hamilton Place, Shoppes at Hamilton Place, and Overlook at Hamilton Place.
Located in Hixson, Tennessee, Northgate Mall is home to more than 60 stores and is continuing to grow! For those who live in areas such as Hixson, Soddy Daisy, Red Bank, and Signal Mountain, Northgate will be a bit more convenient of a drive. While it may be smaller than Hamilton Place Mall, Northgate is not lacking in options. Here you’ll find stores like Old Navy, Burlington, Hibbett Sports, Ulta Beauty, TJ Maxx, and tons of places to eat!
Warehouse Row is located in the heart of Downtown Chattanooga and will have everything you need if you are looking to make an impression with your style. Home to stores such as Anthropologie, J. Crew, Hemline, and Madewell, Warehouse Row offers a unique creative shopping experience with lush aesthetics built into a historic building. It is conveniently located within walking distance to yummy local restaurants as well as more shops scattered throughout Downtown.
If you are looking to shop local, take a stroll down Frazier Avenue! Here you’ll find local shops and boutiques offering adult and children’s clothing, beautiful art, unique gifts, books, and more! If you want even more options to shop from, just around the corner on Manufacturers Rd., is 2 North Shore which is home to Rock/Creek, NoogaPaws, Learning Express Toys, Fleet Feet Chattanooga, and more! After getting a few steps in from shopping, finish your day at one of the local delicious bars or restuarants!
