The International Plastic Modelers Society's Annual Convention is coming to the Chattanooga Convention Center August 7th through the 10th. Scale modelers from around the world will be in attendance. There will be thousands of highly detailed scale models of airplanes, tanks, ships, cars, rockets and figures on display built by the best modelers in the world. Nickajack Bat Cave Canoe Adventure

When: 7:30-10 p.m.
Where: Outdoor Chattanooga, 200 River Street
Cost: $40 per canoe ($20 pp) and $10 for children under 13 years of age

Outdoor Chattanooga hosts a guided and equipped canoe trip to Nickajack Cave, where thousands of endangered gray bats come each summer to raise their young. We will begin with essential canoeing instruction for the novice paddler and set out for a short paddle to the mouth of the cave at dusk and watch the bats fly to start their nightly feeding.
