212 West 8th St

This Citron et Sel Spanish influenced restaurant and bar is the latest of the Defoor brothers additions to their West Village development. The restaurant offers food from central and south America as well as wine, beer and a ton of tequila. We also hear that if you buy a shot of premium tequila you get to ring the “old Mexican bell” and smash the ice glass. Fun!
495 Riverfront Pkwy
(423) 269-7487
Boathouse has had the monopoly on riverfront restaurants for a while, but not anymore! Scottie’s on the River faces the Tennessee River and is adjacent to the Riverwalk and Springhill Suites by Marriott. This high-end steak, seafood, and oyster restaurant is an upscale vibe but you could still feel comfortable coming in off a boat. Try the Pan Seared Scallops served over charred Brussels sprouts with crispy pork belly and a hot sriracha honey glaze or the classic New York Strip, a lean and flavorful 12 ounce, center cut, New York Strip cooked to order and drizzled with a Beef Demi Glace.

Our favorite St. Elmo restaurant is opening its second location in Ooltewah’s Cambridge Square in summer of 2019! This local eatery features Southern Coastal fare and amazing Sunday brunch with a $3.50 bloody mary bar. The new location will occupy two stories, with main dining located on the ground floor and a tavern style space on the upper level. Outdoor seating will be available on both levels.
This gift shop has been a Chattanooga staple for more than a decade, and now they are working to open their second location this summer in North Shore’s Signal Mill. This is one of those everything-but-the-kitchen-sink kind of stores that has an amazing selection of gifts for everyone from new baby to great-grandparents, from teachers to co-workers and from friends to family.
